iPhone’s have been popular since they came out in 2007. The iPhone 4 came out in 2010. In 2012 the iPhone 5 was released. It was a fad because everyone wanted the new one, they had been waiting for it for 2 years. Everyone wanted it just to upgrade from the generation 4 iPhone.
