The demand for the product was very low, so it did not sell as they hoped that it would.


What were the goals of the company that sold the product?


Name of Company: Thirsty Dog! and Thirsty Cat!
Goals: These carbonated, vitamin-enriched beverages came in two flavors: “Crispy Beef” for classy canines and “Tangy Fish” for favored felines.  The goal was to give pets healthy skin and thicker and healthier fur.


Were there any fads that contributed to the failure of the product? What were they?

There were no fads, customers and pet owners realized that the dogs naturally don't care what they consume, considering they give their own selves a bath with their own tongue. Therefore, they stopped buying the bottled water for pets. also didn't notice any effects that the water guaranteed.
